Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Agbay Amiga (ranked 23674 p4p, 23825 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 41 - 59 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Agbay Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 48 - 56 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Amiga did well to prevent Salvacion getting side control. Amiga flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Amiga preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Salvacion landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Salvacion controlling the action here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga is controlling Salvacion's trapped leg to prevent Salvacion from advancing to side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga is looking to control Salvacion's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Amiga avoid being mounted?
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Nice takedown defense from Amiga. No joy for Salvacion on that attempt. Salvacion scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Amiga is controlling Salvacion's trapped leg to prevent Salvacion from advancing to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Amiga manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion content to stall in guard here. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Amiga wants to improve his position but instead Salvacion has moved into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Amiga is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Salvacion looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Amiga is fending him off so far but Salvacion persists. Nope, Amiga circles away and we're back to standing. Amiga drops down looking for a counter takedown but Salvacion sprawls and moves away. Amiga looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Salvacion! Salvacion explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rico Salvacion dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Amiga stuffs the takedown. Amiga shoots in for a double leg but Salvacion sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Salvacion replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Amiga blocks it well. Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. And Amiga counters with a quick kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Salvacion to the mat! Salvacion manages to get full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion pulls Amiga in to control the position. Amiga would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Salvacion pulls Amiga in to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Amiga sitting in guard, not really doing much. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Amiga is fighting to break Salvacion's control of his arms but Salvacion is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Amiga as he avoids it easily. Agbay Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rico Salvacion. Amiga moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Amiga shoots in looking for a takedown. Salvacion tries to sprawl out of it but Amiga keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Salvacion manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A nice side step and Salvacion releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. A momentary lapse in concentration from Salvacion enables Amiga to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Salvacion manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Salvacion seems keen to control Amiga's posture. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Agbay Amiga dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Amiga drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Amiga has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Salvacion is proving hard to escape from. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga looking to sit in guard and control but Salvacion gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Salvacion controlling from the top position. Amiga is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Agbay Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rico Salvacion. Salvacion closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Amiga to the mat! Amiga manages to get full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Salvacion slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Amiga doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Rico Salvacion. I think Salvacion has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
