Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Van Brock (ranked 1812 p4p, 2897 weight class) and Huug Schlepper (ranked 118 p4p, 167 weight class). Schlepper is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: AC/DC - Highway to Hell. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Van Brock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Huug Schlepper! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schlepper on the wrong end of a nice jab. Brock misses with a wild body shot. Schlepper staying out of range there. A momentary lapse in concentration from Brock enables Schlepper to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Brock manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Schlepper looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Brock is trying to control the position but Schlepper postures up. Schlepper's corner is telling him to maintain position. Schlepper advances position into side control! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brock is letting Schlepper control him for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brock on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brock tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Brock's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Brock tries to buck Schlepper off but Schlepper is having none of it. Brock might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Schlepper content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Schlepper thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Schlepper is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Schlepper has knee on belly and moves into mount. Schlepper controlling the pace for now. Brock looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Huug Schlepper dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Brock stuffs the takedown attempt from Schlepper. Schlepper gets slowly back to his feet. Brock loads up on a big right hand but Schlepper slips the punch. Brock looks to land a left hand but Schlepper moved out of range nicely. Brock looks to score with a jab to the body but Schlepper is just out of range. Schlepper moves away from the strike by Brock. Schlepper moves out of range as Brock strikes. Brock misses with the combination.
Schlepper shoots for a takedown but Brock saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brock rushes Schlepper and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Schlepper leaning his opponent against the cage. Brock swings away with an uppercut that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Schlepper takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Schlepper is trying to pull guard but Brock has him pressed against the cage. Van Brock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Huug Schlepper. Schlepper tries to pull guard but Brock won't allow it.
Brock lands a hook that snaps the head of Schlepper backwards. Schlepper has Brock pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Brock manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Schlepper looking for a takedown. Brock gets through Schlepper's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Schlepper dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Brock works on Schlepper's body with a couple of short punches. Brock is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Schlepper's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A head punch on the inside from Brock fails to land. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Schlepper tries for a takedown but Brock manages to get underhooks.
Schlepper is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Brock gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Brock. Brock misses with a hook to the ribs.
Schlepper tries to score a body lock takedown but Brock shows good agility there to stay on his feet. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Schlepper stalling.
Brock digs a right hand underneath Schlepper's ribcage. Schlepper let out a lung full of air as it connected. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Van Brock dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round! Schlepper takes a shot right to the bread basket. Brock just misses with a punch to the body.
Brock misses with a straight right. Schlepper tries to counter by closing the distance. Schlepper fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Brock throws a shot from downtown. Schlepper moves away and avoids it. Schlepper tries to counter by closing the distance. Schlepper with a poor takedown and Brock counters with a stiff right hand. Huug Schlepper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Brock misses the shot to the body. Brock thows a left - swing and a miss! Schlepper looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Brock is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Schlepper can do to turn this around? Schlepper stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brock swivels though and keeps the full guard. Brock looking to control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Brock looking for a sweep. Not yet Brock, not yet. Schlepper sitting in guard, not really doing much. Schlepper stopping the sweep attempt from Brock. Schlepper slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Brock looking to control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Schlepper looks for a takedown but Brock sprawls well. Van Brock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Huug Schlepper. Schlepper shoots in but no luck this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Schlepper closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Schlepper advances to full mount. Schlepper looking to control and managing it successfully. Schlepper with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Schlepper has control of Brock's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Brock regains control of the situation pretty easily.

And that's the end of the fight! Huug Schlepper comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Schlepper has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
