Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thornton lands a body shot.
Thornton stuns Boss with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Boss ducks right into an uppercut from Thornton.
Boss closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Thornton dips to his left and cracks Boss with an uppercut!

Thornton lands with a left to the head.

Thornton lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Boss backwards.
Thornton lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Boss's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Thornton lands with a light punch inside.
Boss gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Boss is keen to just control but Thornton is a slippery customer.

Thornton tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Boss has an Americana. Thornton didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Boss is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Boss hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
