Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seck Diop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Marc Khan!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diop tries to clinch
and Khan counters with a straight right hand.
Khan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Diop is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Khan slips a jab and a cross from Diop.
Khan dodges the punch combination from Diop.
Khan digs a good body shot into Diop's ribs.
Diop closes the distance but Khan moves to the side
and Khan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diop gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Khan gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marc Khan!
Marc Khan looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'That boy ugly af!! And wtf sort of name is stopha lopha????'.
