Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Kong (ranked 660 p4p, 1689 weight class) and Philip Roth (ranked 81 p4p, 214 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, King Kong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Philip Roth!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roth uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kong.
Kong throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Roth counter with a right hand.
No joy there for Kong, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A little jabbing left from Roth on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kong misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roth on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Kong misses with a hook
letting Roth counter with a right hand.
It looks like King Kong has been cut.

Roth showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kong.
Kong jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kong closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Kong tries to bum rush Roth with a series of wild strikes but Roth uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kong tries to land a leg kick but Roth saw it coming and moves away.
Roth feints the counter takedown.

Kong throws a leg kick
and Roth counters with a straight right hand.
Kong misses with a straight right.
Roth takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kong sends Roth crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kong is motioning to the referee to let Roth up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Philip Roth has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kong throws a low kick, looking for Roth's leg but Roth calmly moves out of range.
Kong throws a right and a left that Roth avoids nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kong throws a left and a right that both miss
and Roth counters with a crisp right hand that drops Kong! Roth lets Kong back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Kong cracks Roth with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kong has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Roth to stand back up!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kong falls off balance throwing a combination
and Roth counters with a nice right hand that sends Kong toppling to the canvas! Kong scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Roth finish him?!
King Kong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roth moves out of range as Kong strikes.
Roth feints the counter takedown.
Roth gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kong swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Roth is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Roth slips under a jab.
Kong cracks Roth with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kong misses with a lunging right hand
and Roth counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Roth has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Kong misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kong lands a big right hand that sends Roth crashing to the mat! Kong stays standing though and waves Roth back to his feet!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kong lands a big uppercut and Roth crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Roth looks OK. Kong waves Roth back to his feet!
Roth is rocked!
Roth moves out of range of the body kick from Kong.
It seemed like Roth was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
King Kong dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Kong throws a leg kick
and Roth counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Roth is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kong sees it coming and defends easily.
Roth is working for a kimura but Kong is defending it quite comfortably.
Kong is trying to stand up here but Roth is controlling him well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roth wants to pass the guard but Kong is defending well.
Roth trying to control from half guard but Kong is working away.

Kong won't allow Roth to pass to mount.
Roth stalling.
Kong keeping hold of Roth's head, controlling as best he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Roth is looking to advance position but Kong won't allow it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Sloppy strikes from Kong. Those never looked like landing.
Decent striking displayed by Kong there.
Good work by Roth as he checks the leg kick.
Despite the aggression on Roth's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Kong fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Kong jabs Roth right on the nose. Roth blinks but takes it well.
Roth avoids the head kick by Kong.
Roth changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
An inside leg kick lands from Kong.
Kong lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kong throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Roth doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
King Kong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kong misses with a lunging right hand
and Roth counters with a stiff right hand.
Roth blocks a jab.
And Roth tries to counter it with a takedown but Kong pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Kong throws a leg kick that is checked
and Roth counters with a straight right hand.
Kong jabs Roth to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kong throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Roth! But no joy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Roth doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

King Kong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kong lands a jab to the head.
Kong does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Oooooh!!! Kong has knocked Roth down with a huge combo! Kong steps away and waves a wobbly Roth back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Roth is still on wobbly legs! Can Kong finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kong ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Roth out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). King Kong!
