Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Drake Lane (ranked 4287 p4p, 5142 weight class) and Miko Sajuric (ranked 445 p4p, 480 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drake Lane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Miko Sajuric!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lane gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sajuric prevents Lane from getting back to his feet.
Lane seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Lane on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lane tries to get out of the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sajuric accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Sajuric is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Lane counters with a nice uppercut.
Sajuric tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lane defends well and Sajuric ends up having to push Lane into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sajuric tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lane sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sajuric somewhat.

Lane lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Lane tries to bum rush Sajuric with a series of wild strikes but Sajuric uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Horrible takedown attempt by Sajuric or perhaps it was just good defense by Lane, which made it look bad.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lane lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The fighters are working up against the cage. Lane manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Sajuric wants to take the fight to the mat but Lane manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Lane is pressed up against the cage. Sajuric has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lane down to the mat. Lane avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Sajuric shoots for a double leg takedown but Lane sprawls well. He's pushed Sajuric's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lane circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Sajuric to the canvas! Sajuric doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Lane keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
