The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powerhous takes a swing at Tate Iii's ribcage but misses.
Powerhous throws a head kick that misses.
A little feinted left hand from Tate Iii on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Tate Iii throws a combination. Powerhous tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Boxing Powerhous has been cut.
Powerhous pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tate Iii tests Powerhous's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Tate Iii staggers Powerhous with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Powerhous looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Powerhous walks straight into a solid jab from Tate Iii. Oh, it looks like it's stumbled him! Tate Iii follows up with a big combo - a right followed by a left that knocks Powerhous out cold! Powerhous toppled like a tree, face planting on the canvas. Wow, that was brutal!
