Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oharles Cliveira (ranked 25120 p4p, 23991 weight class) and Tapad Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amiga dives in and grabs Cliveira's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cliveira pushes down on Amiga's head and hops out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cliveira tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Amiga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cliveira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Amiga enables Cliveira to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Amiga manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Cliveira's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Cliveira seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Amiga for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Oharles Cliveira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cliveira throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Amiga was covering up waiting for the punch and Cliveira finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Cliveira is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Amiga doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cliveira.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Cliveira is stinking the place up with his stalling.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Cliveira has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Amiga defend it? Cliveira steps over the head and cranks it - Amiga is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Cliveira!
