The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Kraag tries to clinch and Pancake counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pancake. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Pancake (2) vs (0) Kraag Pancake might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kraag is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pancake defends well. Kraag looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Pancake passes into half guard.
Kraag actively working from the bottom here. Kraag is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pancake pulls his head out easily. Pancake is working hard to pass the guard. Kraag has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
