Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Abbott gets a clinch.
Abbott working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Dover goes for a takedown in the clinch but Abbott prevents it.
Abbott effectively controlling the action here.

Abbott breaks from the clinch.

Abbott manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dover on his heels. He'll look to pass Dover's guard now, I'm sure.

Dover has his foot on Abbott's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Abbott works his way back into a safe position though.

Abbott distracts Dover with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Dover escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Abbott gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Abbott stands up from Dover's guard - Abbott perhaps looking for a knockout.

Abbott instigates a clinch.

Abbott escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Dover tries to keep at a distance but Abbott has taken the fight into the clinch.

Abbott jumps guard and drags Dover to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Dover thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Dover is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Abbott is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Abbott has escaped and now he's on top!

Abbott is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Dover has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Abbott is looking to defend but Dover has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Abbott! Dover pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Abbott taps out and this one is all over!
