PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zygfryd Piskor (ranked 4370 p4p, 4672 weight class) and Re Mora (ranked 267 p4p, 279 weight class). Piskor comes to the cage accompanied by Klatka. Mora has chosen Freestyle Zampa - IDS as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piskor dives in for a single leg takedown but Mora sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Mora is fighting off a takedown attempt but Piskor is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Mora to the mat. Mora regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Piskor stays in close to Mora's body and controls the position.
Piskor throws a big elbow that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Piskor closes the distance and clinches up with Mora, looking for a takedown. Piskor pushes Mora against the cage but Mora circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Piskor fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mora to the ground. Piskor is now in Mora's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mora drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Piskor gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Piskor jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mora walks away with a smile on his face. Piskor gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Re Mora showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Mora has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
