The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hicks leaves Hooah with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hicks blocks a jab.
Hooah shoots in for a takedown but Hicks shows good takedown defense.
Hooah walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hicks checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Hooah fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dwayne Hicks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mauricio Hooah.
Hicks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A shot to de liver by Hicks . Beautiful body shot.
Mauricio Hooah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hooah looks gassed!
Hooah fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hicks avoids it really well and circles away.
Hooah on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Mauricio Hooah has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hicks connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Hooah to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Hicks !
