Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Makhi Snow (ranked 2758 p4p, 1465 weight class) and Rinya Nakamura (ranked 194 p4p, 121 weight class). Makhi Snow has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Makhi Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rinya Nakamura!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Nakamura.
Snow is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Snow definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Snow taking punishment in the form of punches.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snow is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Nakamura asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Nakamura scores with a couple of short elbows.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nakamura tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nakamura has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Snow tries to escape but Nakamura is in control.
Nakamura is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Snow knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Nakamura scores with punches from side control.

Nakamura thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Snow is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Nakamura has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Nakamura controls the position from side control.
Nakamura grinds an elbow into Snow's temple.
Snow is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Nakamura wants to lay and pray for a moment but Snow keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Snow is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Nakamura lands a few punches from side control.
Nakamura is chipping away with strikes.
Snow is rocked!
Snow is working to avoid the ground and pound but Nakamura connects with a decent elbow.
Oh Snow is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Nakamura lands a decent elbow from side control.
Nakamura scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Snow is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Nakamura can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

An out of breath Rinya Nakamura thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
