Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cade Quinn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dag Yilmaz!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yilmaz throws a series of punches but Quinn avoids them all with ease.
The fight stays on the outside here - Yilmaz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Yilmaz throws a right and a left that Quinn avoids nicely.
Quinn takes a swing at Yilmaz's ribcage but misses.
Quinn lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Dag Yilmaz has been cut.
Quinn showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Yilmaz.
Some wild striking there from Yilmaz.
Quinn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Yilmaz throws a predictable looking body shot
and Quinn counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Yilmaz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Yilmaz's coach down at MMA Training and Sparring Buddies was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Yilmaz's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Quinn thuds a left hand into Yilmaz's body.
Quinn swats away the attempt to clinch by Yilmaz.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Quinn scores with a nice strike.

Yilmaz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Quinn's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Quinn has his foot on Yilmaz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yilmaz works his way back into a safe position though.

Quinn is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Yilmaz rolls with it to try and escape but Quinn cranks on the arm and Yilmaz is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Cade Quinn!
In his post fight interview, Cade Quinn started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
