The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drummond throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Takeda counters with a left to the body.
Drummond uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Takeda.
Drummond throws a quick counter kick to the body but Takeda avoids it.
Takeda thuds a left hand into Drummond's body.
Drummond swings away with a body shot that misses
and Takeda cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Deebo Drummond has been cut.
Takeda looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Drummond ducks under a wild hook from Takeda.
Drummond swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Takeda cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Drummond throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Takeda swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Takeda throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Drummond smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Genyo Takeda has been cut.
Drummond connects with a body shot that sends Takeda's belly button to the back.
Drummond scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Drummond uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Takeda.
Takeda throws a good cross that connects.
Takeda throws a hook but Drummond blocks it.

Takeda just misses with a punch to the body.
Drummond definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Takeda connects with a good right hand that stumbles Drummond. Drummond circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

and Takeda counters with a three punch combo that has Drummond backing up. Drummond nods at Takeda to acknowledge the strikes.
Takeda throws a hook but Drummond blocks it.
Nice defenses there by Takeda.
Takeda looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Drummond rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Takeda counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Drummond ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Takeda moves away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Takeda! But no joy.
Takeda ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Drummond misses with a straight right.
Takeda cracks Drummond with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Takeda has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Drummond to stand back up!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Drummond keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Takeda swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Drummond.
Deebo Drummond's cut is getting worse.
Takeda fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Takeda checks a leg kick nicely.
Drummond throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Takeda sizes up Drummond with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Takeda lands a big uppercut and Drummond crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Drummond looks OK. Takeda waves Drummond back to his feet!
Drummond is rocked!
Takeda fakes the body blow, causing Drummond to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Drummond goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
