Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freaky Travis (ranked 4475 p4p, 3455 weight class) and Lucas Wilson (ranked 205 p4p, 184 weight class). Wilson has chosen I Stand Alone - Godsmack as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Freaky Travis has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freaky Travis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Lucas Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Freaky Travis has been cut.
Travis cracks Wilson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Lucas Wilson has been cut.
Wilson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Travis.
Travis definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Freaky Travis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Wilson dives in for a single leg takedown but Travis sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Travis misses with a hook. Wilson ducked under it nicely.
Travis lands a lovely overhand right.
Travis clobbers Wilson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Wilson swats away the attempt to clinch by Travis.
Wilson slips a jab from Travis.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wilson. Travis does a little dance to reset his feet.
A telegraphed right hand from Travis misses the target.

Travis has Wilson up against the cage in a clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Travis is pushing Wilson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Wilson has had enough of the clinch but Travis keeps him there for the moment.
Wilson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Travis's elbow.
Wilson misses with some punches.
Travis lands a nice uppercut.

That has opened up Lucas Wilson's cut even more.
Wilson avoids the elbow strike from Travis, against the cage.
Wilson fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Travis blocking some punches.
Wilson swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Travis misses with a knee to the head.
Travis misses with a punch on the inside.

Wilson looking for a takedown.
Wilson told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Freaky Travis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Wilson.
Wilson misses with a hook from the clinch.
The referee calls for Wilson to work.
Wilson is trying to break free.
Travis is struggling to control the position.
Wilson tries a body shot but Travis blocks it.
Travis's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Travis lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Travis misses with some punches.

Wilson misses with an elbow over the top.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Travis takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
The referee is keeping an eye on Travis - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Wilson has Travis pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Travis manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Travis creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Travis blocking some punches.
Travis has a couple of punches blocked by Wilson.
Travis scores with a shot to the side of Wilson's head.

The cut above Lucas Wilson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Wilson wants to stall.
Travis lands with a right to the head.
Travis leaning his opponent against the cage.

Wilson is looking to break free of the clinch but Travis has double underhooks.
Travis will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Wilson up against the cage.
Travis lands with a short shot to the head.
Travis misses with a knee to the head.
Travis fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Wilson missing with knees to the body.
Come on Travis - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Travis lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Wilson backwards.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Freaky Travis dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Wilson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Travis is looking to improve his position.
Wilson is thwarting Travis's attempts to control the position.
Travis preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Travis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Wilson passes to side control.
Wilson trying to control the action but Travis is working from the bottom.
Travis gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Travis wants to hold on but Wilson pushes him away.
Travis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilson on the ground.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wilson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Wilson is working for a guillotine from mount but Travis frees his head quite easily.

Wilson controlling from the full mount.
Travis on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Travis tries to get out of the position.
Travis holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Wilson tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Wilson is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Wilson extends the arm and Travis is forced to tap!
