Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fuljrim Jasari (ranked 1249 p4p, 1057 weight class) and Tyrese Mercado (ranked 133 p4p, 119 weight class). Jasari comes to the cage accompanied by 90's Bombs. Tyrese Mercado will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fuljrim Jasari!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyrese Mercado!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jasari waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mercado.
Jasari ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mercado fails to land with a series of punches.
Mercado shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Jasari jabs Mercado to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jasari lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jasari definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Mercado might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mercado is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jasari.

Mercado feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jasari sprawling to the canvas! Jasari rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mercado finish him?!
Oh Jasari is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jasari throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mercado sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mercado is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jasari tries to get into range but Mercado steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Jasari! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Mercado scores the big KO victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tyrese Mercado! Tyrese Mercado retains his lightweight title!
Tyrese Mercado tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
In defeat, Fuljrim Jasari stepped up to the mic, saying 'Someone is gonna get killed for this roberry, these judges and refs are rigged af'.
