The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones rushes Mcintyre and presses him up against the cage.
Mcintyre pulls guard successfully.

Mcintyre is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jones content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Jones sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mcintyre's guard.
Mcintyre might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mcintyre is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Mcintyre has hold of Jones's hands but Jones slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Mcintyre is looking to control Jones's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mcintyre avoid being mounted?
Mcintyre gets full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcintyre has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jones is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mcintyre.
Mcintyre takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mcintyre, who protects the arm well.
Jones scores with a couple of short elbows.
