The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Von Meyer.
Da Silva appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
A looping hook to the body misses from Von Meyer. Da Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.
Von Meyer throws a body punch but Da Silva moves out of range.
Da Silva takes a jab right on the kisser.
Von Meyer misses with a wild body shot.
Von Meyer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Da Silva manages to avoid it.
Da Silva scores with a takedown into Von Meyer's guard.
Da Silva drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Da Silva as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Von Meyer screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Da Silva! Nice submission victory there!
