Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Charles Drake (ranked 3421 p4p, 4795 weight class) and Bingo Fat (ranked 274 p4p, 325 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Charles Drake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bingo Fat! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drake tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fat defends well and Drake ends up having to push Fat into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Fat scores with a nice hook to the head. Drake trying to land knees to the body.
Fat is leaning against Drake and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Drake misses with a punch to the body.
Fat looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Drake tries to work over Fat's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. A short right hand to the side of the head by Fat. Fat lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Drake letting Fat take a breather here. Fat is working Drake over against the cage. Fat has Drake pushed against the cage. Fat scores with an uppercut up the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drake goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Drake has Fat pressed against the cage, preventing Fat from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Fat blocks a body shot from Drake. Fat lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Drake breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drake pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Drake really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Drake scores with a nice head shot. Drake works Fat's body with a nice hook. Drake throws a low kick but Fat moves out of range easily. Despite the aggression on Fat's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Fat throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Fat moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
It looks like Charles Drake has been cut. Drake looks to land a right hand but Fat moved out of range. Drake tries to clinch up but Fat circles away and keeps his distance. Drake dives in and scores a takedown into Fat's guard. Drake stops Fat from standing up. Fat can't keep his opponent in guard - Drake advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Drake is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fat is just riding it out for now. Drake eventually gives up the hold. Drake trying to control from half guard but Fat is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drake stops Fat from getting back to his feet.
Drake thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fat is trying to stand.
Drake trying to control the action but Fat is working from the bottom. Drake throwing shots but Fat is blocking nicely. Drake looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drake thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fat's head. Fat wants to get back to his feet.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fat changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Drake walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fat checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Drake misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fat looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Fat lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Drake slips a jab and a cross from Fat.
Fat lands with an overhand left. Drake has his takedown stuffed letting Fat counter with a right hand.
Drake is rocked! Drake slips under a jab. Oh Drake is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Drake finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Fat's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Drake falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bingo Fat! In defeat, Charles Drake stepped up to the mic, saying 'Tonight wasn't my night. It's time to go back to the drawing board and figure out what went wrong. I am still young, and I will bounce back'.
