Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Turner (ranked 3560 p4p, 4677 weight class) and Tyrese Horn (ranked 399 p4p, 469 weight class). Turner comes into the arena with Rapstar blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrese Horn!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horn pushes Turner up against the cage in a clinch.
Horn is trying to pull guard but Turner turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Horn tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Turner smiles and moves away.
Horn darts in looking for a takedown but Turner gets double underhooks and turns Horn into the cage.
Turner throws a big counter combination but Horn scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Jack Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyrese Horn.
Horn dodges the punch combination from Turner.
Turner fails with the takedown
and Horn counters with a left and a right that stings Turner.
Turner lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Turner.
Horn closes the distance and pushes Turner back into the cage.

Horn moves in looking to clinch but Turner pushes him off.
Turner seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Turner is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Horn.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Turner prevents Horn from breaking the clinch.
Turner is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Horn is defending well for now.
Horn wants to get back to striking at distance but Turner won't allow it.
Turner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Turner stuffs the takedown.
Horn dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Turner misses with a head kick.
Turner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Horn moves away.
Turner has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Turner there as he acknowledges the shot.
Turner drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turner works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Horn tries to get to full guard but Turner has control of the leg.
Turner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Horn on the ground.

The fighters are battling for position here. Horn manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Turner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Horn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Horrible takedown attempt by Turner or perhaps it was just good defense by Horn, which made it look bad.
Turner closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Horn did well to prevent Turner getting side control.

Turner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Horn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jack Turner.
Well Horn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
