Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Chapman (ranked 4397 p4p, 4406 weight class) and Felipe Barbiroto (ranked 374 p4p, 375 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Felipe Barbiroto!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbiroto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chapman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Chapman is trying to improve his position.

A close round but Felipe Barbiroto will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Barbiroto feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
