Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Merlin Bando (ranked 4956 p4p, 4675 weight class) and Shamsudin Mamedsharipov (ranked 460 p4p, 450 weight class). Mamedsharipov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. katyusha kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Merlin Bando!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Shamsudin Mamedsharipov!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bando throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mamedsharipov's waist but Mamedsharipov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bando off to one side.
Mamedsharipov looks to land a combination but Bando avoids it well.
Bando attempts a counter takedown but Mamedsharipov avoids it well and moves away.
Mamedsharipov drops Bando with a left right combo! Mamedsharipov follows him down to the ground into side control.
Bando is rocked!
It looks like Merlin Bando has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big shot lands for Mamedsharipov! That's hurt Bando! Will he recover? Mamedsharipov fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shamsudin Mamedsharipov!
After the fight, Shamsudin Mamedsharipov was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
