Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris Wilson (ranked 2677 p4p, 3153 weight class) and Erica Santana (ranked 188 p4p, 214 weight class). Wilson comes to the cage accompanied by The Final Countdown. Santana has chosen Scream - OG Ron C as his entrance music. Erica Santana has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erica Santana!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santana throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wilson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Santana to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Wilson tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Wilson has momentary wrist control but Santana slips an elbow through the middle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Santana working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Wilson controls Santana momentarily but Santana frees himself.

Santana stands up over Wilson, holding on to his feet. Santana throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Wilson is out cold! Santana lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Erica Santana!
