Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexandria OcasioCortez (ranked 1577 p4p, 2407 weight class) and Matt Cooper (ranked 109 p4p, 151 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OcasioCortez drives through and clinches with Cooper against the cage.
Cooper is trying to work for a single leg takedown but OcasioCortez pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Cooper will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning OcasioCortez up against the cage.
OcasioCortez pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
OcasioCortez tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
OcasioCortez tries to land knees in the clinch but Cooper avoids the damage to the body.
OcasioCortez swings wildly with an uppercut but Cooper uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
OcasioCortez lands an elbow inside that Cooper shrugs off.
It looks like Matt Cooper has been cut.

OcasioCortez pushes off an throws an elbow but Cooper leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
