Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gumbo Rice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Filipovic closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Filipovic has his foot on Rice's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rice works his way back into a safe position though.

Rice fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Filipovic looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Rice looks to land a combination but Filipovic avoids it well.
Rice rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Filipovic moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Filipovic is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rice is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Filipovic misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Rice bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Filipovic.
Filipovic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Rice uses his free foot to push down on Filipovic's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Filipovic.

I think Filipovic has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
