Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kulata Bitok (ranked 23955 p4p, 23987 weight class) and Tapad Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 67 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 69 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapad Amiga!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga goes for a double leg but Bitok avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bitok continues to drive forward.
And Bitok counters with a quick kick to the body but Amiga blocks it.

Amiga looking to score a takedown here. Bitok is defending well but Amiga drives through and ends up in Bitok's guard.
Bitok will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Bitok is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Amiga throwing strikes but missing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bitok controls Amiga momentarily but Amiga frees himself.

Bitok pulls Amiga in close to prevent any damage.
Amiga is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Amiga is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bitok's half guard.

Bitok blocking the ground and pound attempt from Amiga.
Bitok wants to control but Amiga is keeping busy.
Amiga takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Amiga's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Amiga keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Bitok looking to score a takedown here. Amiga is defending well but Bitok drives through and ends up in Amiga's guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Tapad Amiga dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Amiga is looking to clinch.

Bitok shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Amiga is trying to maintain the position but Bitok is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Bitok shoots in but Amiga avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Amiga counters with a body kick.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Amiga shoots in looking for a takedown. Bitok tries to sprawl out of it but Amiga keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bitok manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bitok drops down looking for a counter takedown but Amiga sprawls and moves away.
Bitok has his takedown stuffed
and Amiga counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Amiga.
Amiga shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bitok pinned against the cage. Bitok gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bitok quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Kulata Bitok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tapad Amiga.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Amiga closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bitok circles away.
And Bitok counters with a quick kick to the body but Amiga blocks it.
Bitok closes the distance and clinches up with Amiga, looking for a takedown. Bitok pushes Amiga against the cage but Amiga circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Amiga. No joy for Bitok on that attempt.
Amiga follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Bitok shoots for a takedown but Amiga saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Amiga only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bitok shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Amiga sprawls well. Amiga wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bitok gets slowly back to his feet.
Amiga is trying to counter with his kicks.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Bitok misses with a takedown attempt
and Amiga counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Bitok dives in for a single leg takedown but Amiga sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Amiga replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Bitok blocks it well.
Amiga tries for a takedown. No joy.
Amiga has Bitok pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bitok manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Kulata Bitok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tapad Amiga.
Bitok changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Amiga fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Amiga gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bitok to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Amiga is looking to stand back up but Bitok counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Amiga.

Amiga makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Amiga.
Bitok throws a strike but Amiga rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Amiga stays in close to Bitok's body and controls the position.
Bitok has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Amiga is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bitok looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Bitok wants to control from the top but Amiga keeps moving.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Tapad Amiga.
I think Amiga has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
