Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 23667 p4p, 23936 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 42 - 62 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 52 - 55 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Libat displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nada.
Libat throws a quick counter kick to the body but Nada avoids it.
Libat fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nada avoids it really well and circles away.
Nada counters with a body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Libat closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Nada's guard.

Libat won't allow Nada to sweep him here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Nada fails with a takedown attempt.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Higanti Libat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada.

Nada dives in for a single leg takedown but Libat sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Libat feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Nada works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Nada throwing strikes but Libat manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Nada is trying to control but can't.

That was a close second round but I would say that Higanti Libat will probably get the nod.

Nada is pressed up against the cage. Libat has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nada down to the mat. Nada avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

It appears Libat was looking to counter with a kick there.
Nada will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Libat went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Nada shoots in looking for a takedown. Libat tries to sprawl out of it but Nada keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Libat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Nada drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Way Nada has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Higanti Libat is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Nada is looking to take a break and control but Libat is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
