And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan McCallum!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCallum lands a jab to the nose.
Lawson misses with a jab to the body
and McCallum counters with a one-two to the body.
McCallum looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
McCallum is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lawson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Lawson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but McCallum is defending well.

McCallum pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circle momentarily. McCallum darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
McCallum lands the left hand.
Lawson lands a head kick!
Lawson is looking to clinch but McCallum is avoiding it.
McCallum lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Lawson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
McCallum is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lawson throws a head kick that misses
and McCallum counters with a left and a right that stings Lawson.
That kick from Lawson tenderised McCallum's leg. McCallum is trying to keep his angry face on.
Lawson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

McCallum lands with a nice combination. Lawson backs away looking to recover.

Lawson is rocked!
McCallum drops Lawson with a straight right hand, right on the button! McCallum follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
