And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 6 losses; Paddy Mcgillicutty!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Goble tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mcgillicutty sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Goble somewhat.

Mcgillicutty is looking for a kimura but Goble is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mcgillicutty to get the leverage.
We've been hearing good reports from Goble's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Mcgillicutty is working for a kimura here but Goble manages to reverse the position and he's now in Mcgillicutty's guard.

Mcgillicutty has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Goble can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mcgillicutty tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Goble wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Goble will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Goble really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mcgillicutty wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Goble has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Mcgillicutty's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Mcgillicutty is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Goble!
