Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Layzie Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jabru Ark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Assassin comes to the cage accompanied by Thuggish Ruggish Bone. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ark throws a right and a left that Assassin avoids nicely.
Assassin tries to clinch up but Ark circles away and keeps his distance.
Ark is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Assassin.
Ark misses with the combination.
Ark rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Assassin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Assassin clinches.
Assassin keeps control of Ark as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Assassin throws a punch but it's blocked by Ark.
Ark wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Ark's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Ark blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ark is trying to break the clinch but Assassin has him pressed against the cage.
Ark lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Assassin keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ark's efforts to push away.
Assassin jumps guard but Ark stands there with Assassin around his waist. Assassin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ark has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ark breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ark throws a hook but Assassin blocks it.
Jabru Ark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ark misses with a few strikes there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Assassin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Assassin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Ark counter with a right hand.
Assassin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ark paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ark thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ark closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ark throws a big shot that misses.
Ark throws a left and a right that both miss
and Assassin counters with a series of strikes that sends Ark to the canvas! Assassin follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Ark is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Assassin pushing down on Ark's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Ark is still in real trouble! Can Assassin finish him?
Assassin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ark keeps working.
Ark seems to have recovered his senses.
Assassin works his foot free and advances to mount.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Ark tries to improve his position but Assassin has taken his back! Assassin has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Ark tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Assassin pushes Ark away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
