Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mitch McGee (ranked 5323 p4p, 2090 weight class) and Gellir Signarsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGee kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Survivor - Eye of the Tiger. Mitch McGee has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mitch McGee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gellir Signarsson!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee throws a nice looking combination but Signarsson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Signarsson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McGee.
McGee throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Signarsson counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Signarsson cracks McGee with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
McGee tries to bum rush Signarsson with a series of wild strikes but Signarsson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mitch McGee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Signarsson avoids a punch combination nicely.

McGee definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Signarsson drops McGee with a straight right hand, right on the button! Signarsson follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
