This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Irakli Talakvadze! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Ichiroshi Maeda! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Talakvadze clinches up with Maeda and pushes him back against the cage. Talakvadze is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Maeda can't fight it off and eventually Talakvadze manages to take the fight to the floor. Maeda looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
