Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jeramiah Pony (ranked 838 p4p, 2088 weight class) and Jackson Parks (ranked 66 p4p, 144 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jeramiah Pony! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jackson Parks! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pony scores with a jab to the body. Jackson Parks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pony digs a good body shot into Parks's ribs. Pony shoots in and gets a takedown into Parks's guard. Pony definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Parks escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pony gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Parks tries to land a sweep but no joy. Pony drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pony jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Parks controls Pony momentarily but Pony frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pony drops back for a leg! That's one minute gone in the round. Pony trying to control but Parks is working from the bottom. Parks looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pony makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Pony passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Pony prevents Parks from improving his position. Nice strikes from Pony there. Parks is trying to control but Pony manages to pass to mount!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Parks is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pony working Parks over with strikes. Parks is looking for a sweep. Pony is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Pony seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Parks does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Parks wants to control but Pony is keeping busy.
Pony working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Pony trying to control the action but Parks is working from the bottom. Parks throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pony working Parks over with strikes. Pony prevents Parks from standing back up.
Pony lands strikes from half guard. Pony landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Pony looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Parks scores with a few weak punches. Pony wants to take a breather but Parks is having none of it. Pony seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Pony trying to control the action but Parks is working from the bottom. Parks is controlling Pony's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pony lands strikes from half guard. Parks wants to control the action here but instead Pony manages to pass to full mount! Pony pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Pony looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Pony looking to control and managing it successfully. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pony cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Parks in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Parks tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pony with a couple of short strikes.
Parks is rocked! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jeramiah Pony dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Pony fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Parks is defended easily by Pony. Pony punishes Parks's body with a nice straight punch. Parks is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pony sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Horrible takedown attempt by Parks or perhaps it was just good defense by Pony, which made it look bad. Jeramiah Pony has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Parks. Parks takes one on the chin but seems OK.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parks is looking to clinch. Parks takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Parks fails with the takedown and Pony connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Parks changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pony tries to avoid it but Parks manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pony to the ground. Pony escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pony shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Parks's guard. Pony trying to control but Parks is working from the bottom. Pony scoring with some ground and pound. Pony is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Pony trying to control the position from guard on top but Parks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Parks can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pony controls the pace. Parks looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Parks keeping moving, preventing Pony from controlling successfully. Our spies down at at Cozad The Island inform us that Parks has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parks striking off his back, scoring a few points. Parks wants to hit a sweep here but Pony passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Parks there! Pony wants to control the pace but Parks is squirming around nicely. Pony with a couple of short strikes.

Pony is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Parks is surviving well by controlling Pony's body position as best he can. Parks tries to reverse the position but Pony maintains control. Pony looking to control but Parks is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Pony landing strikes, looking to finish! Parks wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Pony working for a choke but Parks is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parks can't escape the position.
Pony is looking to control Parks but Parks is wriggling around and keeping busy. Parks trying to control the action but Pony just sinks the hooks in. Parks breaks Pony's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pony working a defensive guard here.
Parks drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pony dives on top into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pony advances position into side control! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Parks enables Pony to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Parks manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Pony preventing the sweep. Parks is trying to keep Pony in close.

That's one minute gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pony lands a nice short elbow. Pony is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Pony works his way into side control. Parks tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pony wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Parks keeps trying to improve his position. Pony tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pony has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parks is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pony off and has taken his back! Pony tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Pony wants to hold on but Parks pushes him away. Parks connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Pony taking shots to the head. Pony bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pony thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pony is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Pony doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pony manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Pony wants to control from the top but Parks keeps moving. Parks is looking to stand up but Pony isn't so interested in that idea. Jackson Parks has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pony has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pony is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Pony pushes down on Parks's leg and manages to get into half guard. Pony uses his free foot to push down on Parks's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Parks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pony tries to control but Parks wriggling away. Pony lands with some strikes. Pony manages to capitalize on a mistake by Parks to take his back! Pony has got one arm under Parks's chin. This could be trouble... Parks trying to control the other hand but Pony gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Parks has tapped out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jeramiah Pony! A less than humble Jeramiah Pony misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
