Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Ridley (ranked 1012 p4p, 973 weight class) and Bryan Williams (ranked 113 p4p, 107 weight class). Luke Ridley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Luke Ridley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bryan Williams! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams throws a hook to the side of Ridley's head but Ridley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ridley moves into range and connects with a jab. Williams looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Williams misses with an uppercut. Ridley saw that one coming. Williams takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Williams moves away from the strike by Ridley. Williams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ridley lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Williams avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Williams throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ridley throws a body shot but no joy. Williams clinches with his opponent.
Ridley tries to break free but Williams pushes him back against the cage. Williams prevents a takedown attempt there.
Williams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Williams ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. The fighters circling - Ridley throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Williams takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams throws out a loose jab but Ridley uses good head movement to avoid it. Ridley seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Ridley takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Williams throws a head kick that misses. Nice uppercut lands for Ridley. That snapped Williams's head back.
Luke Ridley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ridley throws a series of strikes that have Williams backpedaling.
Williams misses the shot to the body. A jab from Ridley does it's job there. Williams tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ridley defends well and Williams ends up having to push Ridley into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Ridley moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Williams is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ridley avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Williams is still on wobbly legs! Can Ridley finish him? Ridley lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ridley checks a low kick from Williams. An attempted straight right counter from Ridley misses the target. Ridley throws a shot from downtown. Williams moves away and avoids it. Ridley slips a jab and a cross from Williams.
Williams seems to have recovered his senses. Williams misses with an uppercut
and Ridley counters with a crisp one two that drops Williams! Ridley thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Williams to his feet! Williams is in big trouble! Ridley scores with a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ridley dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Ridley steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Williams. Williams keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ridley. Ridley jabs Williams to the body, keeping him at a distance. Williams on the wrong end of a nice hook. Williams tries to clinch and Ridley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ridley is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Ridley looks to land a right hand but Williams moved out of range. Williams throws a body shot but no joy. Williams throws a hook but Ridley blocks it. Jab from Ridley. Williams drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Ridley checks a low kick from Williams. Ridley connects with a good right hand that stumbles Williams. Williams circles away out of range and recomposes himself. The fighters circle momentarily. Ridley darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. A punch combination from Williams misses. Ridley is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Williams throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ridley counters with a stiff right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams walks straight into a right hand from Ridley - that's dropped him! Ridley jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Williams from any more punishment! Williams complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
