The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kopitar shoots in and drives through. Snake sprawls well.
Kopitar misses with a takedown attempt - Snake sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Snake blocks a head kick by Kopitar.
Snake tries to counter with a clinch but Kopitar shakes him off and moves away.
Manno Kopitar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kopitar just misses with a punch to the body.
Kopitar throws a body kick that misses.

Snake moves into the clinch successfully.
Kopitar has Snake pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Snake manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manno Kopitar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A frustrated look appears on Kopitar's face as he tries to break the clinch.
