Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Shamus McSorley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pitter Patter!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patter scores with a sloppy right hand. McSorley should have avoided that one.
McSorley throws a head kick that misses.
Patter throws a shot from downtown. McSorley moves away and avoids it.
Patter throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
McSorley changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Patter throws a big shot that misses.
Patter thumps McSorley with a low kick.
Patter pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Patter cracks a nice hook into McSorley's ribs.
Patter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Patter connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Patter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pitter Patter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McSorley on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McSorley tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Patter scores with a jab to the head.
Patter throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
McSorley steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Patter.
Patter throws a shot to the body.
Patter throws a body punch but McSorley moves out of range.
McSorley seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Patter checks a leg kick.
Patter fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McSorley looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McSorley keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A quick step to the side and McSorley tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
McSorley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Patter avoids a punch combination nicely.
Patter looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
McSorley takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
McSorley wants to clinch up but Patter keeps it at a distance.
Patter jabs at McSorley's body.
Patter throws a right and a left that McSorley avoids nicely.
McSorley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
McSorley quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
McSorley defending well as Patter loads up on a big left hand.
Patter misses with an uppercut. McSorley saw that one coming.
McSorley half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
McSorley looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A jab lands there for Patter.
Patter looks to throw the jab but McSorley is out of range.
McSorley has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McSorley there as he acknowledges the shot.
McSorley is rocked!
Patter measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes McSorley! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
