Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frane Vinkovic (ranked 578 p4p, 5108 weight class) and Giovanny Winters (ranked 72 p4p, 486 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frane Vinkovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Giovanny Winters!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinkovic lands a nice looking body shot.
Vinkovic seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Winters tries to move into range but Vinkovic moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
It looks like Giovanny Winters has been cut.
Frane Vinkovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vinkovic drops Winters with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Winters looks back up at him and smiles so Vinkovic waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Winters takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Winters looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vinkovic measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Winters! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Frane Vinkovic!
After winning the bout, Frane Vinkovic thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
