The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richarlison lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Richarlison connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Kody Ruiz has been cut.
Ruiz slips a jab from Richarlison.
Ruiz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ruiz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Richarlison.
We've been hearing reports that Ruiz has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Ruiz's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Richarlison connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ruiz scrambles back to his feet.
Richarlison walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ruiz drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Richarlison swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Ruiz's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

A very excited looking Chris Richarlison rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
