Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between JB Penn (ranked 3084 p4p, 2370 weight class) and Kree P Krawlee (ranked 254 p4p, 207 weight class). Kree P Krawlee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JB Penn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kree P Krawlee! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Ben Hemmingworth and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Krawlee. Krawlee closes the distance and clinches. Krawlee tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Krawlee gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Krawlee working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Penn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Krawlee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Penn keeping moving, preventing Krawlee from controlling successfully. Penn controls Krawlee momentarily but Krawlee frees himself. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Krawlee's corner. There ya go! There ya go! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Penn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Krawlee defends well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krawlee is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Penn is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Krawlee is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn keeping full guard, as Krawlee tries to pass. Penn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Krawlee defends well. Krawlee lands a couple of elbows. Krawlee is in close to Penn's body, working some short punches and elbows. Penn definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Krawlee working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Penn's head. Krawlee with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Penn is rocked! Krawlee gets to his feet and stands over Penn, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Penn felt that one! Krawlee unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Penn from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kree P Krawlee!
