Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vallteri Jalonen (ranked 4182 p4p, 5484 weight class) and Kelvin Santos (ranked 207 p4p, 223 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Santos 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Jalonen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Santos is looking to clinch.
Jalonen misses with a straight left.

Santos moves into the clinch.
Jalonen tries to break free but Santos pushes him back against the cage.
Santos using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Jalonen lands a left hand that snaps the head of Santos backwards.
Santos throws a head punch that misses.
Santos lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Vallteri Jalonen has been cut.
Jalonen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Jalonen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Santos has him pressed against the cage.
Jalonen has a couple of punches blocked by Santos.
Jalonen lands with a light punch inside.
Santos with a knee to the head.
Santos tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Santos misses with an elbow strike.

Jalonen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Santos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jalonen, pushing him back against the cage.
Santos misses with a knee to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Santos is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jalonen is defending well for now.

Santos drops Jalonen with a big knee straight up the middle! Jalonen is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Nice straight punches there by Santos. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Santos.
Jalonen misses with a looping right.
Santos displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jalonen throws out the jab.
A bone on bone clash there as Santos blocks the leg kick.
Jalonen swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Santos feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jalonen sprawling to the canvas! Jalonen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Santos finish him?!

Jalonen is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jalonen is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Santos doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Jalonen crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Jalonen's bad books for that mishap!
