Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edgar John (ranked 4381 p4p, 4946 weight class) and Sean Baker (ranked 447 p4p, 471 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edgar John!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Baker!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John rushes Baker and presses him up against the cage.
John controlling the action here for a moment.
Baker tries to score a body lock takedown but John shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
John changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Baker fights it off and pushes away nicely.
John fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Baker, pushing him back against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Baker fails to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
John breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Baker has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Sean Baker has been cut.
Baker looks winded!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
John tries to pull guard but Baker holds him up against the cage and eventually John drops back down to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Baker prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edgar John. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baker is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but John is keeping busy.
John tries to pull guard but Baker forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Baker blocks an elbow strike from John.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as John takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
John is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Baker to keep the fight standing.
John tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Baker smiles and moves away.
Baker looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
It's a brutal combination of punches from John! Baker is backing up but he can't get away as John lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Baker and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Edgar John!
