Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dwight Schrute!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Emberson Cabral!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabral ducks under a wild hook from Schrute.
Cabral lands a body shot.
Schrute throws a big shot that misses.
Schrute throws a hook but Cabral blocks it.
Schrute misses with a hook
and Schrute takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Dwight Schrute has been cut.
A telegraphed right hand from Schrute misses the target.
Schrute ducks right into an uppercut from Cabral.
Schrute jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cabral slips a straight right by Schrute.
A slapping leg kick lands for Cabral.
Schrute misses with an uppercut.
Cabral bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cabral defending well as Schrute loads up on a big left hand.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Cabral! But no joy.
Cabral fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Schrute tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Schrute misses with an uppercut.
Cabral dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Schrute. That did some damage!
Schrute takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
A big head kick from Cabral and Schrute is sent sprawling to the canvas!
Schrute is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cabral working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Schrute's head.
Oh Schrute is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Schrute preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Schrute seems to have got his legs back now.
Cabral scoring with some ground and pound.
Cabral throwing strikes from guard but Schrute blocks nicely.
Schrute working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cabral.
Cabral stands and throws Schrute's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Cabral landing strikes.
Dwight Schrute's cut is getting worse.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Cabral lands a big left to the face of Schrute, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Cabral and another - Schrute is out! Cabral stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Emberson Cabral!
