Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Alvarez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Irvin Holland!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Holland swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Alvarez shoots in for a takedown but Holland shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Holland unleashes a big counter combination but Alvarez bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Holland closes the distance and clinches.

Holland's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Alvarez counters with a left and a right that stings Holland.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Holland lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Alvarez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Alvarez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well Holland has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
