Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 23608 p4p, 23874 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 42 - 62 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 52 - 55 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Libat shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nada as he avoids it easily. Nada misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Libat throws a quick counter kick to the body but Nada avoids it. Libat misses with a takedown attempt - Nada sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nada counters with a body kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Libat wants it to stay on the feet. Libat quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat dives in and grabs Nada's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nada pushes down on Libat's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Higanti Libat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nada lands a nice looking kick to the body. Libat takes a step back to recover. Nada shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Nada with the ground and pound but Libat uses the opportunity to regain guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Libat being controlled here, momentarily. Libat looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Nada stays in close to Libat's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Libat looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Nada slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Nada shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Libat is trying to defend but Nada finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Libat wants to control but Nada is keeping busy.
Libat keeping hold of Nada's head, controlling as best he can. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Way Nada dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Libat doesn't succeed with the takedown and Nada counters with a lovely shot to the body. Libat leaves Nada with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Libat napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada throws an elbow but Libat slips to the side and avoids it well. Libat is trying to control Nada's posture but Nada avoids it. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Libat parries the strikes from Nada easily there. Nada is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Libat to escape.
Nada controls the position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Libat looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nada is fending him off so far but Libat persists. Nope, Nada circles away and we're back to standing. Nada shoots in for a takedown but Libat shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Libat half committed to a counter leg kick. Libat shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nada defends it nicely. Nada is trying to counter with his kicks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Higanti Libat. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Libat feints and as Nada raises his hands in defense, Libat changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Nada is trying to keep Libat in close.
Nada seems keen to control Libat's posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Libat postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Nada seems keen to control Libat's posture. Nada keeping moving, preventing Libat from controlling successfully. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat controls from within his opponent's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Way Nada showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! Nada throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Libat's waist but Libat gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nada off to one side. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nada is defended easily by Libat. And Libat counters with a quick kick to the body but Nada blocks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nada looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Nada has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada struggling a bit here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Libat takes a little break here. Nada wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Libat lands some shots froms side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Libat controls the position from side control. Libat lands a decent elbow from side control. Nada is trying to improve his position. Libat controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Nada's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Libat shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nada tries to roll over but Libat keeps him under control. Nada is controlling Libat's position as best he can from this difficult position. Higanti Libat has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Way Nada is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat is working for a kimura but Nada is defending it quite comfortably.
And that's the end of the fight! Higanti Libat showed his dominance in that final round. Well Nada has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
