Quessy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jiet can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Quessy has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jiet is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Quessy.

Quessy felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Jiet is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Quessy has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jiet is looking to defend but Quessy has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jiet! Quessy pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jiet taps out and this one is all over!

After winning the bout, Thomas Quessy thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
