Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lukasz Patryk (ranked 2318 p4p, 2503 weight class) and Taistelu Jaska (ranked 89 p4p, 97 weight class). Jaska has chosen Taistelu Jaska Theme from youtube as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Lukasz Patryk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Taistelu Jaska! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patryk gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Patryk taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Patryk decides to pull guard. Patryk bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jaska's guard. Patryk trying to control but Jaska is working from the bottom. Patryk is really struggling to control Jaska but he's trying to hold on to the position. Jaska trying to keep a closed guard but Patryk is proving a slippery customer.
Patryk wants to pass the guard but Jaska is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Patryk throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Patryk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jaska keeping moving, preventing Patryk from controlling successfully. Patryk content to stall in guard here. Patryk tries to free his leg and advance position but Jaska is retaining full guard. Patryk trying to control but Jaska is working from the bottom. Patryk seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Patryk shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jaska napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Jaska's face as Patryk controls the position. Patryk creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jaska sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Jaska managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Patryk.
Jaska is looking to regain half guard here but Patryk keeps moving and retains side control. Patryk in side control, just content to control the action for now. Jaska is trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jaska is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Patryk passes the guard and advances to mount! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Patryk fails to move to back control. Patryk landing punches. Patryk throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Jaska is squirming around, avoiding Patryk's attempts to control the action. Patryk with the ground and pound from mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Patryk postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jaska looks a forlorn figure.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jaska wants to control but Patryk is having none of it. Patryk takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Patryk shoots in and gets a takedown into Jaska's guard. Jaska is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Patryk is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jaska can do to turn this around? Patryk looking to pass the guard. Jaska wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's one minute gone in the round. Patryk slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Patryk definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Jaska pulls Patryk in close to prevent any damage. Patryk is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Patryk wants to control from the top but Jaska keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jaska closes the distance and pushes Patryk back into the cage. Jaska throws a punch but it's blocked by Patryk. Jaska tries to stall but Patryk uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Patryk drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jaska is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Patryk gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jaska taking a breather. Jaska trying to control the position but instead, Patryk has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jaska into the cage. Jaska is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Taistelu Jaska. Patryk shoots for a takedown but Jaska saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Patryk closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Patryk lands in his opponent's guard. Jaska keeping moving, preventing Patryk from controlling successfully. Jaska has a closed guard, preventing Patryk from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Patryk wants to control from the top but Jaska keeps moving. Patryk is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jaska is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jaska clinches up against the cage. Patryk has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jaska uses from the top position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Patryk is on top in guard.

Jaska keeping moving, preventing Patryk from controlling successfully. Patryk throws a big right hand that misses. Jaska can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Patryk controls the pace. Patryk is looking to work some ground and pound but Jaska has wrist control. Patryk has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Jaska is fighting to maintain full guard but Patryk has managed to sneak the leg through. Jaska tries to get to full guard but Patryk has control of the leg. Patryk looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Patryk not doing much here.
Nice strikes from Patryk there. Patryk is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jaska sees it coming and defends easily. Lukasz Patryk overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Patryk in particular looking to stall. Patryk postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Jaska to stand up. Lukasz Patryk is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Patryk scores with a takedown into Jaska's guard. Patryk wants to control from the top but Jaska keeps moving. Jaska has control of Patryk's left arm, preventing Patryk from doing any damage. Patryk is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Patryk wants to stand but Jaska has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Patryk cracks Jaska with a solid left hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Patryk passes easily into side control. Nice work. Patryk cracks Jaska with a big right hand but Jaska just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
And that's the end of the fight! Lukasz Patryk showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Patryk, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
