Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Matteo Torres!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leonard Norton!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Norton.
Torres definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Norton connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Torres momentarily.
Torres with a lazy takedown attempt
and Norton counters with a stiff right hand.
Torres takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Torres is rocked!
Norton fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Torres on the side of the head.
Oh Torres is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Torres is aggressively charging in as Norton backs up avoiding any damage. Norton tosses out a jab and Torres runs right into it face first! Torres is out cold! Norton dropped down on all fours and is barking in Torres's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Leonard Norton!
