Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Proctor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ramazan Adaev!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Proctor looks to land a right hand but Adaev moved out of range.

Adaev closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Proctor's guard.
Adaev in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Proctor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Adaev is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Proctor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Adaev is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Proctor looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Adaev not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Proctor wants to sweep here but Adaev controlling him for the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Adaev passes Proctor's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Adaev is working for a kimura but Proctor is defending it quite comfortably.

We've been informed that Adaev has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Proctor is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Adaev defends well.

Adaev postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Proctor is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Adaev, into his guard.

Adaev pulls Proctor in close to prevent any damage.

Proctor stays in close to Adaev's body and controls the position.

Adaev is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Proctor frees his head nicely. Oh but Adaev has switched to an armbar! Proctor is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
