Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Taxi (ranked 2154 p4p, 2245 weight class) and Andrew Blanchard (ranked 213 p4p, 227 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Taxi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrew Blanchard! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blanchard keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A big left from Blanchard misses. Blanchard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Taxi manages to avoid it. Blanchard misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Taxi.
Taxi was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Blanchard tests Taxi's chin there with a solid looking shot. Blanchard has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Blanchard swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Taxi.
It looks like Tony Taxi has been cut. Taxi misses with a body punch
and Blanchard counters with a stiff right hand. Blanchard keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Taxi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blanchard looks to score with a jab to the body but Taxi is just out of range. Taxi was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Blanchard lands a jab to the head.
Blanchard throws a looping overhand right but Taxi ducks down to avoid it. Taxi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blanchard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Taxi.
Blanchard moves away from the strike by Taxi. The fighters circling - Taxi throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Taxi ducks right into an uppercut from Blanchard. Blanchard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Blanchard is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Taxi. Blanchard looks to score with a jab to the body but Taxi is just out of range. A slow jab from Blanchard misses its intended target. Taxi is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Blanchard moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrew Blanchard!
